Three Days/Two Nights at Rivercamp
One of the newest rafting areas is on the Kali Gandaki River. This is an entirely new area located west of the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara where your rafting takes you not only through incredible whitewater experiences, but also past fascinating villages, pristine jungles along with sandy beaches and great fishing and swimming opportunities.
This river has been growing in popularity since it was first recently opened to rafters and kayakers. The river, besides offering incredible scenery, has plenty of challenges as there are great rapids and technical bounces through terrific gorges. This river can be conquered by both professional as well as amateurs in the area of white water rafting.
We put in at the confluence of the Modi Khola and take out at Mirmi where there is a hydro-power plant on the Kali Gandaki River. The trip combines thrills with local cultural experiences.
Swiss Nepal Family Trekking & Expedition is pleased to be able to offer this incredibly new river experience to its clients. Many are raving about how wonderful the Kali Gandaki River experience truly is. Come and experience it for yourself!
